D.A. Collins Construction Co., Inc. has a reputation for excelling at complex and difficult projects. With a civil engineering degree from Union College, Donald A. Collins founded his company and began with smaller-scale projects like dam repairs. In 1957, we earned the prestigious Thaddeus Kosciusko Bridge contract, a major component of the Northway construction project.
Those “Twin Bridges” carry Interstate 87 over the Mohawk River to connect Albany and Saratoga Counties. That namesake business now performs large-scale civil projects all over the northeast.
