PROJECT BACKGROUND

Objective: Construction of 506′, 2-span steel truss bridge over the Delaware River, connecting Sullivan County, New York with Pike County, Pennsylvania; including approach roadway reconstruction.

Project Scope:

The project consists of cast-in-place concrete abutments and center pier, including concrete form liners and staining to match the look of the surrounding Pennsylvania bluestone, with a 2 span painted steel truss superstructure.

Foundations include driven piles at the pier and New York abutment, and drilled caissons at the Pennsylvania Abutment
